Workshop on LLM Assisted Security and Trust Exploration (LAST-X) 2026
Co-located with NDSS Symposium 2026, San Diego, CA
The LLM Assisted Security and Trust Exploration (LAST-X) workshop will focus on the application of emerging Large Language Model (LLM) techniques in the core areas of computer hardware and software security. We will provide a venue for researchers from both industry and academia to discuss the challenges and solutions in utilizing LLMs for hardware and software security and testing. We will also host a student competition about LLM’s application in security-related challenges.
LLMs have been widely applied to different research areas in computer security and system research. The securityresearch community, alongside other hardware, software engineering, and system research communities, haswitnessed a significant increase in the number of studies leveraging LLMs to enhance the performance of hardwareand software security and testing tools. Consequently, the LAST-X Workshop anticipates significant interest andparticipation from diverse communities, facilitating invaluable exchanges of insights and methodologies.
