NDSS Symposium 2027 Call for Co-located Workshops
Call for co-located workshops is now open.
NDSS Symposium 2027 solicits proposals for co-located workshops. Proposals should include the following information (within a maximum of five pages):
- Title of co-located workshop
- Type of co-located workshop (Open or invitation only, discussion or paper-based, etc.)
- Technical description (within a maximum of two pages)
- Publication policy, e.g., with or without official proceedings (proceedings will be published through the Internet Society) and whether papers will be published at the workshop or afterwards. For workshops with publication prior to the workshop, camera-ready deadline should be 4 weeks before the event.
- For established workshops: please include attendance and acceptance rates of the most recent previous event. Expected duration (full day/8 hours or half day/4 hours)
- Expected number of participants
- A brief biography of the organizer(s), including prior workshop or conference organizing experience.
- Potential participants, including potential program committee members and invited speakers. At least 10 names should be listed. To expose young researchers to reviewing, NDSS welcomes concepts of involving junior members in workshop program committees.
- Plans to host panels/keynotes, if any
- Special meeting logistics requirements, if any
Submissions that do not explain the above may not be considered. Nevertheless, since space is limited, there is no guarantee that all workshop proposals will be accepted. The selection of which workshops to include will be based on their potential quality and impact for the NDSS community.
As a rule of thumb, strong proposals will:
- Provide a list of potential PC members with expertise in the workshop topic
- Having PC members who confirmed their willingness to be in the PC is encouraged
- Propose a realistic timeline for proposed activities that fit within the allocated time for the conference program
- (For new workshops) make a strong case for novelty and relevance of the topic as well as expected attendance
- If there were breaks in the continuity of an existing workshop, please provide a justification along with a history of attendance numbers
Proposals should be submitted by email to the Workshop Chairs by 1 September 2026 (AoE) with the subject “NDSS 2026 Workshop Proposal”. Each submission will be acknowledged by email; if acknowledgement is not received within 48 hours, please contact the Workshop Chairs.
Please list the workshop name and all organizer names and email addresses in the email body.
Important Dates
- Proposal to Workshop Chairs via email: 1 September 2026 (AoE)
- Proposal acceptance notification: 8 September 2026 (AoE)
- Workshop Potential Dates: Symposium dates are 22-26 March 2027 with workshops running on Monday, 22 March, and Friday, 26 March. If there are constraints, please submit those in the proposal.
